Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need professional installation, or can I set it up myself?

No professional installation needed. The machine ships ready to use. Place it on any counter, connect a water jug or direct water line, plug into a standard 110V outlet, and power on. Most operators are up and running within an hour of receiving the unit. No contractor, no plumber, no electrician required.

For setup tutorials, see the included manual or our YouTube channel (@NEOCUCINA). If questions remain, reach out to support@neocucina.com.

Does the machine work with a water jug or direct water line?

The NEO CUCINA ramen cooker supports both water jug and direct water line setups.

Out of the box, it can draw water from a standard external water jug, and no permanent plumbing is required. If preferred, it can also be connected to a direct water line for higher-volume or fixed installations.

This flexibility makes it easy to deploy in offices, cafés, convenience stores, hotels, and self-serve setups.

Does it work without Wi-Fi?

The core functions run fully offline: preset cooking, hot water dispensing, and induction heating all work without a connection.

Wi-Fi is needed for scan-to-cook, cloud menu updates, screen content sync, and on-machine payment. For the best performance and real-time updates, keep the machine connected.

How much cleaning does it need?

Very little. Cooking happens inside the paper bowl, so there are no pots or pans to wash. Broth splashes onto the outside now and then, and a quick wipe takes care of it. No sink and no dishwashing routine.

How do customers pay at the machine?

Two ways, and you can use either. Customers can pay through your existing setup, whether that's your POS, cash register, or a card reader, then cook at the machine. The machine also supports on-machine payment: customers scan a QR code on the screen and pay from their phone, and cooking starts once payment clears. That means it can also run in unattended spots with no checkout at all.

Can I customize the menu?

Yes. The machine includes 4 fully customizable one-tap cooking buttons.

You can edit menus and cooking programs directly on the touchscreen, or manage them remotely through the web-based dashboard.

In addition, you can generate QR codes for recipes, allowing staff or customers to run additional recipes beyond the four on-screen buttons, giving you virtually unlimited menu flexibility.

What else can the machine do besides cook ramen?

Three things. First, it auto-cooks ramen and other boil-in-bowl dishes like udon, pho, and oatmeal. Second, the built-in induction surface works as a standalone cooktop, so you can heat, simmer, or sauté using your own pot or pan. Third, it dispenses instant hot water at the temperature and volume you set, for tea, coffee, and more.

Do you sell ramen, soup, or toppings?

We do not sell ramen, soup bases, or toppings directly. The machine and the disposable paper bowls (with optional lids) are what we provide.

To make sourcing easier, we provide a curated list of ramen brands and toppings that operators sell well, along with direct purchase links. This gives you a practical starting point for products that are easy to source, operator-friendly, and proven to perform.

Do you sell bowls and lids?

Yes. We sell our induction-safe disposable paper bowls designed to fit and work with the NEO CUCINA ramen cooker for a clean, consistent serve every time. You can buy them here. And matching lids are available and can be purchased here.

How much is shipping, and where do you ship from?

For U.S. domestic orders, shipping is free. We ship from within the U.S., and most orders arrive in 3 to 8 business days depending on your location.

Do you offer discounts for ordering multiple units?

Yes. We offer volume-based pricing for multi-unit orders. Contact our team for details and tailored solutions.

Do you offer payment plans or financing?

We do not offer in-house installment or financing plans. However, there are a couple of options available:

  • Shop Pay: If you purchase through our website, you may be eligible for installment payment options through Shop Pay at checkout. Eligibility is determined by Shop Pay at the time of purchase.
  • Third-party financing: We do not arrange external financing on your behalf, but you are welcome to use any third-party equipment financing provider or lender of your choice.
What is your warranty policy?

Our 1-year limited warranty covers manufacturing defects for products bought from NEO CUCINA or authorized dealers. We'll replace defective units at no extra cost.

What certifications does the machine have?

The NEO CUCINA machine is ETL Listed and ETL Sanitation certified, which means it has been tested for electrical safety and sanitation requirements for commercial equipment. These certifications are equivalent to UL and NSF standards for commercial use, so the machine is compliant for commercial operation in applicable settings.

We love it

Customer photo review of Smart Commercial Ramen Cooker

Purchased this for our break room in a small business and everyone loves it. We have some of the official disposable bowls that work great, but we also have some induction capable 2qt stainless steel pots that work very well with the unit. An added benefit to the metal pots is that they reduce splashing that can occur when cooking. We draw water from one of the 3 gallon jugs (bottom right of the picture) which made it super easy to setup (I didn’t need to add any plumbing). This unit also has the capability to dispense water at a specific temperature which makes brewing some kinds of teas easier. The induction feature can be used independently. As a test, I was able to cook some bacon pieces in one of the pots, then immediately make ramen on top of the bacon. Turned out this was really good and has become a popular snack at the office. We are super happy with the unit and the price point was very reasonable in comparison to other units we looked at.

Works good and was easy to set up. Sales and customer support has been superb as well. So far, so good. We have already recommended them to other boba shop owners.

Great product, trusted seller, and awesome service!

Amazing machine. It has been a great addition to our little game store.

The machine works great and I know we are just scratching the surface on all the features it has - can't wait to get Neo Cucina in all of our shops.

Works well and is easy to maintain. The front does show fingerprints and splashes, but a quick wipe takes care of it.

We programmed the buttons for our most popular noodle choices. Training is much easier.

It’s bigger than a normal countertop appliance, so definitely measure your space first. It looks very professional once installed.

Customers enjoy watching their noodles cook.

This let us add a hot food option without building a full kitchen. Exactly what we needed.

There’s a bit of a learning curve during the initial setup. After that, it’s basically press and go.

I really like being able to update the menu and cooking settings online. We added new ramen options without having to make the changes directly on the machine.

Solid machine overall.

The barcode scanner is easily the best feature. Customers don’t need to guess how much water to use or how long to cook each noodle.

We don’t have a water line near the counter, so we use a 5-gallon jug. Works great.

We uploaded our own promotions to the display, which was a nice bonus.

Setup took a little longer than expected, especially the Wi-Fi connection. Once everything was configured, daily use was simple.

Super easy for customers to use.

Great buy

Great machine for a small cafe like ours. Cuts prep time significantly. Initial WiFi configuration was a bit tricky but support helped us through it.
