What it is made of

A paper bowl built to boil in

It is not a soup cup. Five layers let an induction plate heat the bowl itself, so the noodles boil in the bowl you eat from and nothing needs washing.

Lab tested. SGS tested the bowl to US FDA 21 CFR 175.300 for food contact. No wax. Rated up to 212°F.

  1. Food-grade coatingThe inside surface the food touches. Heat resistant.
  2. Aluminum layerWhat the induction plate heats. This is why the bowl is the pot.
  3. Barrier filmKeeps moisture out and holds the layers together.
  4. PaperboardInsulation and strength, so the bowl holds its shape at a boil.
  5. Outer filmKeeps the outside dry.

Questions

Questions about the bowls

Can you cook ramen in a paper bowl?

Not in a regular one. This bowl has an aluminum layer inside the paper, and an induction plate heats that layer, so the water boils right in the bowl. On a NEO CUCINA machine a bowl of ramen is ready in 3 to 5 minutes. A plain paper or foam cup cannot be heated this way.

Is it safe to heat food in this bowl?

Yes, when used as directed. The inside is a food-grade coating, there is no wax, and the bowl is rated up to 212°F, the temperature of boiling water. SGS tested it to US FDA 21 CFR 175.300 for food contact. Each bowl is used once and thrown away.

Will they work in my ramen cooker if it is not a NEO CUCINA?

Many induction ramen cookers take them, but not all. Some do not detect the base. The base is 6.3 in across, so check that it fits your machine's heating plate. Not sure? Email support@neocucina.com with your model before you order.

Can I use other bowls in a NEO CUCINA machine?

Yes, if it is made for induction: a flat base about 5 to 8 in (12 to 20 cm) across that a magnet sticks to. A regular paper, plastic, glass or ceramic bowl will not heat. These bowls are the ones we make and test for the machine, and you eat straight from them, so there is nothing to wash.

Do I need lids?

Only for takeout. Matching lids come 300 to a case for $75.

Can I return them?

Unopened cases can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Opened bowls and lids cannot be returned. If a case arrives damaged or has a quality problem, tell us and we will refund or replace it.

People are lining up because of thier experience cooking themselves. We love neo cucina products

Induction-Safe Paper Bowls

The ramen bowl looks nice, but after cooking for a while, it starts to smoke and the bottom gets burnt. I thought about returning it, but since I had already used it, I decided to keep it. Unfortunately, I’m disappointed with the quality and probably wouldn’t purchase it again.
