Northwestern University · Evanston, IL

Northwestern students scan a pack, the machine handles the water and the cooking, and the campus ramen spot has become something they film and share.

A dining spot on the Northwestern University campus built a ramen wall around a row of machines. Students pick a pack, scan the barcode, and the machine dispenses the right amount of hot water and cooks it while they stir.

Students post their bowls online, which keeps new ones coming in to try it.
