This new CU store next to a university campus built a Ramyun Library: a wall of Korean noodles and a counter of four machines. Students grab a pack, cook it in the store and head back to class.
The store sees around 2,000 customers on a weekday, and the ramen counter is a big part of the draw. CU Hawaii started with one machine in May, had nine across its stores by September, and is adding ten more for three new locations.
