What can I cook with it?
Anything that cooks in boiling water. Ramen, udon, pho, oatmeal, and more. For pasta or larger portions, use an induction-compatible metal pot instead of a paper bowl.
Do I have to use your paper bowls?
No. The NEO CUCINA paper bowls are there for convenience: cook right in the bowl and eat straight from it, with nothing to wash. But any induction-compatible pot, pan, or bowl works just as well. There are no proprietary pods.
Can I use it as a cooktop?
Yes. The induction surface works on its own, with no paper bowl involved. Put any induction-compatible pot or pan on it to warm up soup, boil water for tea, or make a bigger batch. Set a time and it stops on its own.
One thing to know up front: there is a single heat level, so it is built for boiling and heating rather than searing or slow simmering. For anything that needs step-by-step temperature control, keep your regular stove.
Do I need an app or Wi-Fi?
No. Everything runs on the machine itself. There is no app to download, no account to create, and no network to set up. Plug it in and it is ready.
Do I need to connect it to plumbing?
No. The 1-gallon tank works on its own. Just fill and go. Connecting a water line is optional, for automatic refilling.
How does the auto-refill work?
Connect the tank to a water line and it refills on its own, so you never have to add water by hand.
How hot does the water get?
The dispenser pours at four temperatures, up to 200°F. When cooking noodles, the induction plate brings the bowl to a full boil.
Is it safe around kids?
Yes. It has a child lock that locks the controls, plus overheat protection that cuts power to the heating plate automatically.
Is it easy to clean?
Yes. The tank lifts out for easy rinsing and refills. If you cook in paper bowls, there is nothing to wash at all.
