Setup complexity is one of the top reasons operators hesitate to invest in new food equipment. A machine that takes a specialist three days to install — and then requires ongoing IT support to manage — is not a viable option for most small-format operators.
The NEO CUCINA Ramen Cooker Pro is designed to be set up by the operator, not a technician. Here's what that actually looks like.
What You Need Before the Machine Arrives
Physical space: A stable countertop surface with adequate space for the machine footprint. The machine is compact — designed for small-format commercial environments — but you'll want clear space around it for customer access and basic maintenance.
Water connection: A standard 1/4-inch water hose connection. In most commercial environments, this can be tapped from an existing water line near a sink, bar, or beverage station. The water hose is included with the machine.
Power: A standard 110V / 15A outlet. US standard voltage (110–120V / 60Hz). No special electrical panel work required.
Wi-Fi: A stable 2.4GHz or 5GHz Wi-Fi connection at the deployment location. The machine connects during initial setup and maintains connectivity for the web control panel.
The Setup Process
Step 1: Physical placement and water connection
Position the machine on the countertop. Connect the water hose to the machine's inlet fitting and to your water supply. This is a straightforward connection — no specialized plumbing required.
Step 2: Power on
Plug into the 110V outlet. The machine will run through an initialization sequence.
Step 3: Wi-Fi connection
Connect the machine to your Wi-Fi network through the touchscreen interface. During initial setup, you'll enter your network credentials. Keep the settings screen open until the connection is confirmed.
Step 4: Web control panel registration
Register the device on the NEO CUCINA web control panel. This links the machine to your account and enables remote management.
Step 5: Load cooking programs and test
The machine comes pre-loaded with four default cooking programs. Run a test cycle with a bowl and water to confirm everything is working correctly before opening to customers.
Step 6: Stock consumables and place signage
Load your bowl supply, set up your noodle kit display, and position any customer-facing signage explaining the self-serve process.
How Long Does This Take?
For a first-time installer following the setup guide: 2–4 hours, including the Wi-Fi connection and web control panel registration.
For an operator deploying a second or third unit at a different location: typically under 2 hours.
What Support Is Available
NEO CUCINA provides a web control panel guide, a setup documentation set, and remote support for connectivity and configuration issues. If a unit has a technical defect that cannot be resolved remotely, NEO CUCINA will coordinate a replacement or repair under the warranty policy.
The Bottom Line
The setup process is designed for a non-technical operator. It requires no specialized tradespeople, no construction, and no complex IT infrastructure. If you can set up a commercial espresso machine, you can set up a NEO CUCINA unit.
